'TIL DEATH

Heather was a Vegas showgirl, Brady a convict from a Wes Craven horror film. The night was unlike any Halloween before...a party in the air, in a home filled with Cindy Wilson’s “Love Shack” memorabilia and gold records and the sounds of creatures scurrying on wood floors in search of prey. It ‘‘Twas the Night Heather and Brady Met” October 2010.

The duo met and moved in with each other immediately. It was literally love at first sight, a fatale attraction...a couple destined to travel the world and eat and drink like neither had ever done before.  A culinary tour of epic proportions awaited them...8 years on the road together building one of the most reputable chef and farmer competitions still to date. Heather and Brady flew laboriously around the country promoting good people and farmers in the fight for good food.

At home, it was real. A pig named Nugget, a lady of mystery, always awaited their loving return.

Heather, a super-star graphic designer and Brady, a visionary, were always inspired by family and friends and would use that inspiration to shape a life they could call their own. Knowing these two - both independent, rebellious and stubborn...we could only hope they would eventually tie the knot, and build their home and family.

Enter 2020 - a year of pivots and interruptions. 2020 was also a year of reflection and deep commitment. Brady finally proposed to Heather exactly 10 years to the day they met - in their new home, surrounded by family and friends at their own Halloween party.

There were 10 bottles of wine that night - one for each year of their history together. Each wine held a story - a story sharing their legacy, their travels, their experiences with those they love most - and hope for a shared future - a ring presented by Brady - and the “yes” from Heather brings us to the present. They will be celebrating their Halloween first meeting and engagement anniversary during Dias de los Muertos in Oaxaca followed by ceremony with everyone in Cabo.

We’re taking this opportunity to share our vows to love each other and promise to always celebrate our friends and family, near and far. We warmly welcome and thank you for sharing this moment in time with us as we celebrate love.
