Unless you plan on arranging for a car service; you will need to purchase a ticket inside the airport to get a taxi to your accommodations. After getting your bags and going through customs there are plenty of friendly people ready to help navigate you to a taxi.

After that taxi from the airport, Ubers in Cabo are super cheap so no matter where you choose to stay it's easy to get around.

Travel & COVID
Entry Requirements
Mexico is open to all travelers, vaccinated and non-vaccinated All passengers traveling to Mexico must comply with certain requirements detailed in the Forms or Applications sections shown below.
COVID-19 Test
Presenting a negative COVID-19 test result is not mandatory to enter Mexico, however, all passengers, vaccinated and non-vaccinated may be subject to health screenings including temperature checks upon arrival. Those exhibiting symptoms may be subject to additional health screening and/or quarantine.
Forms and Applications
All passengers, vaccinated and non-vaccinated of 18 years and older must complete the Questionnaire for Identification of Risk Factors in Travelers upon arrival and it must be presented to immigration.
Keep in mind:
Parents can register their children when filling out their forms.
Important: Fully vaccinated passengers must present a vaccine certificate that complies with Mexico's requirements. Passengers must ensure they meet the requirements to be considered fully vaccinated previously described.
Testing to Return to the United States
Per our communications with Viceroy Los Cabos:
The Covid Test is available from Monday to Saturday from 9:00 am until 3:40 pm. The price is $52 USD Per test (Sundays from 9:00am until 12:40pm) Themeeting point is at the concierge desk at your appointment time , we would really appreciate if you arrive 5 minutes before your appointment. The test is valid for 72 Hours however we suggest you to take it either 1 or 2 days before your departure day.
You are welcome to make your appointment ahead of time or once you arrive to the property directly at the Concierge desk. The results will be sent by email from 4 to 8 Hours after you take the test.
At Home Test Kits
To use an at-home test for results to come home you will need to make sure that test meets CDC requirements. In order to meet the CDC requirements, the tests can be self-administered as long as they meet these criteria:

The test must be either a viral antigen test or a nucleic acid amplification test (NAAT), such as a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test, reverse transcription loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) test, or a transcription-mediated amplification test.

The test must have Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

The testing procedure must include a telehealth video call during which someone authorized by the manufacturer supervises the testing procedure. (Note that some FDA-authorized self-tests that include a telehealth service may require a prescription, according to the CDC.)The telehealth provider must issue a report confirming the patient’s identity, the name of the laboratory or healthcare entity, the type of test, and the specimen collection date.
